Nguyen Cong Tri’s collection “The drought and the rains” has marked the closing ceremony night of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014.
The closing gala of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014 has successfully been held on December 6 evening, marked by Nguyen Cong Tri’s collection “The drought and the rains” at the end of the night.
The aodais are in original and traditional form to praise the pure beauty of Vietnamese women. Motif like soil, tree and water are also used to generate a lively painting of nature.
Stone beading technique and embroidery are special feature of the collection.
Closing the gala night, Ms. Quynh Trang said: “I still find it hard to believe that I finally made this long-lasting dream come true, which is to open the first-ever international level fashion week in Vietnam”
Hoang Hai’s evening gown design – one of the best designs to be shown in the collective showcase one more time in the Gala.

During the closing ceremony, Hoang Minh Ha – winner of Project Runway Vietnam season one has the honor to be enrolled in the Asian Couture Feferation (ACF) and become a junior Governor, certificated by Mr. Frank Cintamani. A few months ago, Nguyen Cong Tri was also appointed a senior Governor of ACF.
