(SGGPO). – The first Vietnam International Fashion Week co-organised by FIDé Fashion Weeks and Multimedia JSC and supported by the Asian Couture Federation (ACF) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The event which will take place early this December with the presenting of latest couture collections of exciting Vietnamese designers alongside leading Asian and international designers.
“This special event will make a big change to the fast-growing fashion market in Vietnam as well as bring more international clients to the very best Vietnamese designers,” said Ms. Le Thi Quynh Trang – CEO of Multimedia JSC.
Dr. Frank Cintamani – Chairman of FIDé Fashion Weeks and Founding President of Asian Couture Federation said: “Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014 will be a unique opportunity to promote fast-growing changes and developments of Vietnamese market, and to also expose an international audience to exceptional Vietnamese fashion designers. Especially, the event will be a new “playground” for the talented designers to show their creativity, originality and their own signature.” As the co-organiser of the event, FIDé Fashion Weeks with their expertise and experience will bring Vietnam the very first fashion show of international standards and by far the most exciting and professional fashion show ever.
During the press meeting to announce Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014, local designer Nguyen Cong Tri was handed his certificate to become the latest Couturier Extraordinaire of Asian Couture Federation by President Frank Cintamani and Vice-President Emily Hwang. Previously (on second of April 2014), Ms Le Thi Quynh Trang was acknowledged as Governor of the ACF.
