TTO – 17 fashion shows represented by both local and international designers will be held during Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014.
The eight international famed designers showing off their collections presenting fashion in the modern days are: Antonio Grimaldi (Italy), the two French designers Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov, with outstanding designers representing Asian Couture Federation: Zio Song (Korea), Frederick Lee (Singapore), Tamae Hirokawa (Japan), Roj Singhakul (Thailand), Tsolmandakh Munkhuu (Mongolio), and Thanh Nga (France).
The representative for Vietnamese designers at Vietnam International Fashion Week is Nguyen Cong Tri – a governor of Asian Couture Federation.
Outfits of designers joining the programme
Vietnamese young designer will be introducing their collections at the first-ever Vietnam International Fashion Week.
They are talented designers who are famous for their creative and intelligent works in Vietnam fashion industry, such as Chung Thanh Phong, Hoang Hai, Hoang Minh Ha, Le Thanh Hoa, Li Lam, and Ly Giam Tien.
“A dream is no longer a dream” – said Ms. Quynh Trang, Production Director of VIFW 2014, when asked about the process and preparation for such international standard fashion week for the first time ever in Vietnam.
Mr. Frank Cintamani, founding president of ACF and chairman of FIDé Fashion Week, the co-organization of Vietnam International Fashion Week, shared “This event will be a key milestone in Vietnam’s position on the world stage for fashion.
The fashion event will last from December 1 to 6 at GEM Center, 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1, HCMC.
